Enrico Sacco, 73, 219 Forrest St., a former miner, died this morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Canonsburg General Hospital following an illness of two days.
Mr. Sacco was born in Italy on August 9, 1882 and lived in Canonsburg for the past 35 years. His wife Maria Sacco died October, 1952.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and the Sons of Italy Lodge.
Surviving are the following children: Carmella, wife of Stanley Niedzwickie, Canonsburg; Rose, wife of James Cadez, Strabane; Guy (Tony), Joseph, and Ernest, all of Canonsburg; Mario and Paul, both of Houston, and Angelo at home. He also leaves 14 grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the John F Yoney Funeral Home after 7 o clock this evening. Blessing services will be held from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Monday followed by Requiem High Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Philip De Carlo as celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
