Deloris (Plantenga) Bonazzo, 87, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.

Born April 7, 1930 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Sr. Ralph and Ella (Hockema) Plantenga.

Deloris worked at Lafayette Jeff High School as a custodian, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Brown Street United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing bingo, going on community rides at The Springs, doing crafts, and was an avid Pacers fan.

Deloris is survived by her two children; son, Bruce Fuller of Lafayette, and daughter, Pam (husband: Tom) Farrell of Lafayette. Additionally, she is survived by her five brothers; Chuck (wife: Bertha) Plantenga of Lafayette, Harold (wife: Mary) Plantenga of Shadeland, Al (wife: Jean) Plantenga of Lafayette, Don (wife: Janet) Plantenga of Lafayette, Ralph (wife: Phyllis) Plantenga of Brookston; sister-in-law, Loretta Plantenga of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Jaime (husband: Jeremy) Haines of Westfield, and Autumn Farrell of Lafayette; four great grandchildren, Kylie Haines, Leah Haines, Xavier Farrell-Corbett, and Billy Huddleston.

In addition to her parents, Deloris is preceded in death by her three sisters, Eleanor Polstra, Katherine Plantenga, and Elizabeth Plantenga; and two brothers, Phil Plantenga and Howard Plantenga.
