Wilma was born in Percy, IA. to Cecil Decker and Ona Harrington, graduated from Moulton High School, and married Gerald Ryan on July 10, 1949 in Bloomfield, IA. They moved to the Brighton area in 1952. She was a past member of First Christian Church of Brighton and First Baptist Church of Brighton. She worked as an Aide at Southeast Elementary School for many years. After her husband retired they wintered in Apache Junction, AZ. She enjoyed travel with her husband via motorcycle and enjoyed bowling both in women’s and co-ed leagues. In her later years, she loved to read and enjoyed crafting after quilting became too hard. She enjoyed collecting greeting cards which she used to make new cards. Survivors included: daughters Barbara (Gary) Harms of Thornton, Marzetta (Rod) Peterson of Brighton, Grace Gilbert of Brighton and LeaAnn (Jim) Thompson of Brighton; sisters Mary Davis, Ottumwa, IA, Barbara Vestal, Unionville, MO, and Betty Anselme of Oregon; six grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Preceding were sisters Viola, Opal and Audrey, and her grandson Michael. Graveside Service held on June 15th
