Jo Dahlberg peacefully passed from this life to Eternal life with her Savior on Monday, June 12, 2017. She was born on August 8, 1930, in Bandera, TX.

Jo grew up on the family ranch, graduated from Uvalde High School, and attended Southwest Texas State College (now Texas State) While there, she met her husband, Elmer F Dahlberg. After graduating with a major in Education, Jo and Elmo, lived in several towns throughout Texas, finally settling in San Antonio with their three children: Greg, Kathy and Krisanne.

Jo and Elmo both worked as Educators for NEISD until retirement. Family and friends were Jo's passion and delight. She was never too busy to listen, talk, play, babysit, feed, or console her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as her friends. Her parents Leslie and Evelyn McMains, husband Elmo Dahlberg, son Greg Dahlberg, and granddaughter Brooke Alexander Sandoval predecease Jo.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Alexander, daughter and son-in-law, Krisanne and Toby Stolhandske, and daughter-in-law, Susan Dahlberg. Jo was blessed with 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service was on June 15, 2017.
