Ed worked for and retired from Verizon Telephone where he was a telephone repairman. He served in the US. Army during Korea and the New York Army National Guard for many years. Ed was an avid bowler and enjoyed crossword puzzles and Sudoku.
Ed is survived by his wife Joyce; a son, Bradley Collingwood; two daughters, Kimberly (Stephen) Szczublewski and Jennifer (Mike) Arnal; his honorary daughter, Lauren (Ron) Sutton. Also surviving is his sister, Sarah Fiertag; two grandchildren, Zachary and Dana Szczublewski and honorary grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy and Christina Sutton. Ed is predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.
