Willie Mary (Hodges) Fisher Abernethy, age 101, passed away on June 14, 2017 at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
Willie Mary Hodges was born on Tuesday, July 20, 1915 in DeLeon, Comanche County, Texas to Johnnie Willie and Beulah Lorene (Hattox) Hodges and was the third of ten children, having five sisters and four brothers.
On December 19, 1931 she married Audry Hugh Fisher. He passed away suddenly on December 16, 1958, after 26 years of marriage.
She later married Arvord Abernethy on February 16, 1974 and they moved to Hamilton. He also preceded her in death.
Willie Mary resided at Parks Methodist for the last 5 years, having returned to Odessa over 16 years ago. She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church.
