Columbus Franklin EADS was born 15 February, 1908 in Silva, Wayne County, Missouri. He was the son of William Franklin EADS Jr and Darthula Dalue SMITH On 20 Sept. 1932 he married one Bertha Mae HARTLINE daughter of Lack John Newman HARTLINE and Alice Mae JOHNSON There were two sons born to this union:
Floyd Junior EADS My father. Junior as he was lovingly called married Mary Margaret ESTERLINE on 2 December 1950 in Manila, Mississippi, Arkansas. She is the daughter of Grover Cleveland ESTERLINE and Cora Mae WILKEY.
Lloyd Gene "Teddy" EADS Uncle Teddy married twice that I can account for. His first wife and mother to his children was Wiletta Joy MULKEY.They divorced and later in life he married his second wife Verna Ann NEWMAN. Ann had been previously married to a man with the surname PANCAKE.
Grandmother Bertha passed away 13 May, 1941. After Grandmother died Grandpa EADS married a second time to a woman named Evelyn Lena ROHAN she was the daughter of John and Mabel ROHAN of Wayne County, Missouri. There were Seven Children born Grandpa EADS and his new wife Evelyn; four boys and three girls.
Columbus passed away 23 January, 1992 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and was laid to rest in the Bernie City Cemetery, Bernie, Missouri
