Arnold "Big Dommer" Bailey, age 85, of Hippo, husband of the late Geneva Prater Bailey, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 31, 1931 in Hippo, a son of the late Haskel and Area Prater Bailey. He was a member of the Martin Church of Christ, UMWA and a retired coal miner.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by three sons; Mike, Jeffrey and Jerry Bailey and one brother; Stanton Bailey.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY., visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday and all day Tuesday at the funeral home, under the kind and professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
