Chapel Services for Elva Mae Curry will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 4-9 on Monday, June 12, and resume from 8:30 A.M. until time of service on Tuesday, June 13, at the funeral home.

Elva Mae Curry, 77, of Alexandria, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Elva is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Curry; two sons, Robbie Curry and Ricky Curry; and her parents, Bobby and Dempsie Clinton.

Elva was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook, bake and was an avid reader. “Maw-maw Curry” loved her grandchildren deeply. She will be missed by all her knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, LeAnn Curry Johnson (Mike White) and Bobbi Rice Berlin (Wayne); along with 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Charles Johnson, Evan Melder, Christopher Rice, Dalton Melder, Martin Pickering, and Mike Gerald.
