Cancer Victim Dies in Hospital
Leonard A. Theriaque, 18 of 16 Phoenix St., succumbed Wednesday night in Springfield Hospital to lung cancer which had crippled him since last Christmas.
He was the son of Gasper J. Theriaque of Phoenix St. Before his illness, he had been employed as a stock clerk by Belldee Distributers of 892 Carew St.
Born in Springfield May 10, 1936, Leonard attended Armory Street School, Van Sickle Junior High School and Technical High School. Besides his parents and maternal grandmother, he leaves a brother, Richard N. at home The funeral will be at the Liberty St. parlors of T. P. Sampson Co. Saturday at 8:15, with a requiem high mass at 9 in Our Lady of Hope Church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
