Ralph Adams, age 85, of Pensacola passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 in Pensacola. Born in Lowrey, Alabama, April 18, 1932, Ralph was the son of the late John Cleveland Adams and Zonie Josephine (Hall) Adams. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He also worked for Sears in Pensacola for several years and he and Loretta had rental property for over twenty-five years. Ralph was a member of Olive Baptist Church for forty-four years.
In addition to his parents, John and Zonie Adams, Ralph was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Adams and Bill Adams; and three sisters, Ruby Taylor, Jewel Ray, and Nell Holloway.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta; his son, Russell (Paula); two daughters, Starla (Ricky) and Carla (Glynn), all of Pensacola; grandchildren, Aaron (Luzelenia), Chelsea, Courtney, Leonard, and Cameron Jurena, Russell Roswold (Julie), Charlotte Walden (Daniel) and Preston Stokes (Ellen); great-grandchildren, Lily Rae Jurena, Oliver Watson, Elijah Jurena and Norah Walden; two brothers, Obie Adams of DeFuniak Springs and John Edward Adams (Betty) of Pensacola.
The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 12 at Faith Chapel North until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jerry Passmore officiating. Interment will be in Bayview Memorial Gardens.
