HEADLAND - Funeral services for Mrs. Della Parker Douglas, 77, who died at her home in Headland, yesterday after a long illness, were held today at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Watterson and the Rev. Paul Mallory officiating. Burial in the church cemetery was directed by Headland Mortuary.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Otis Hand and Mrs. Lovie Wilson, both of Headland; two sons, Foy of Echo and Coy Douglas, of Headland; a sister, Mrs. Cannie Moss of Columbia; two brothers. Walter Parker of Ashford, rt. 2 and Hosea Parker of Donalsonville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
