Deloris was born to William “Willie” Luther Russell and Willie Delilah (Morton) Russell. She attended and graduated public school in Tillman Co. OK. She went onto Central State College in Oklahoma to further her education and was first runner-up for Miss CSU. She married O.A.(Buck) Cargill, an OKC attorney. They were married 20 years. She is survived by 3 daughters and a son and several grand children.
