She was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 20, 1938 to Elenor (Bates) and Elmer Blocher.
Elnora was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Alan and Elmer Blocher.
She is survived by her daughters, Treonne (Pete) Cosgrove, Lenora Dunn, Billie Jean Borchardt, Kimberly (Watt) Douglas, and Alyce Ellis; sister, Doris (Ellis) Powell; brothers, Sherman (Shirley) Blocher and George Blocher; 18 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
Elnora will be remembered most for her generosity, kindness, strong will and determination.
Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009 followed with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Care, 1004 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, MN. A time of fellowship will follow. Memorials may be sent to the family in care of Nelson Funeral Care.
