He was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church and a current member of Mount Hope Presbyterian Church. William retired from the East Lansing Fire Department.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Sherdyne.
Surviving are his sons, Donald L. (Gail) DeLine of DeWitt, William R. DeLine of Mecosta; daughter, Sheri D. (Kevin) Craft of Lansing; three granddaughters, Jennifer (Jeff) May of DeWitt, Jodie DeLine of Mason, Angelica (Drew) Papp of Lansing; great-grandson, Brannon Shiffer of Lansing; as well as one brother, one sister and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Mount Hope Presbyterian Church with Pastor Tony Patrick officiating.
