Raymond Aloysius "Butch" Guy, Jr., 60, of Scotland, MD died April 20, 2008 in Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC with his family by his side.
Born May 9, 1947 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of Mary Catherine Kraus Guy, and the late Raymond Aloysius Guy, Sr.
He lived each day to the fullest and enjoyed the company of family and friends and joking with them.
He was a carpenter by trade and took pride in his work. He spent much of his time hunting, fishing, cutting grass and working in his garden.
"Butch" is survived by his dear mother, Mary Catherine Guy of California, MD, children, Paul A. Guy (Gwen) of St. Inigoes, MD, Gina M. Biscoe (Tim) of Lusby, MD, Jessica R. Guy and fiance Jake of Lexington Park, MD, grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley Biscoe, sister, Mary Catherine "Kay" Dean of Callaway, MD, nieces, Missy, Cindy, and Jeanie and nephew Topper, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many other close family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond A. Guy, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church, 16555 Three Notch Road, Ridge, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Reverend Monsignor Maurice O'Connell on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
