Kenneth Daniel Priddy, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 6,2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Newport Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 8,2017 at the White Family Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Kenneth was born September 16, 1934 in Nocona, TX to Lee and Hattie (Weaver) Priddy. He graduated from Bowie High School in 1954. Kenneth attended University of Texas at Arlington for a year and then worked in the oilfield from 1954- 2003 as an engineer for various companies. He owned and operated Priddy Well Service in Graham. Kenneth married Pat Harris on September 3,1955 and she preceded him in death on April 10,1997. He then married Lillian Gossett on February 14,2003 in Newport, TX. Kenneth worked alongside Lillian at Texland Real Estate Company in Bowie. He enjoyed farming, ranching, and shooting sporting clays. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Hattie Priddy; and wife, Pat Priddy.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Lillian Priddy of Bowie; children, Cherilyn Loving and husband Stephen of Houston; Curtis Priddy and wife Lisa of Possum
Kingdom Lake; Beverly Meacham and husband Chad of Rockwall, TX; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; Lillian’s children, John Gossett and wife Linda of Newport; Carol Shaw of Oklahoma; Lillian’s seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; brother, David Priddy and wife Delores; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
