Dovie Durham, 99 of Warren, passed away, Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 21st at 11:00am at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial in Fellowship Cemetery in Warren. Officiating will be Brother Gerald Read, Brother Jim Bo Swinney and Brother Walter McAlpin. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Statum, Lane Rhodes, Leslie Rhodes, Dusty Rhodes, Phil Whitlow and Billy Sheehan.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 20th from 5:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Dovie was born November 23, 1910 to William Elijah & Cynthia Emma Overstreet Mullins in Polk County, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Tyler County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, four brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Emma Jean Statum and husband Harold of Warren and Patsy Jane Downing of Warren; grandchildren, Scott Statum of Warren, Pat Whitlow of Deer Park, Lane Rhodes of Warren, Lana Rhodes of New Braunfels, Leslie Rhodes of Warren, Carla Sheehan of Deer Park and Charlee Minshew of LaPorte; and nine great grandchildren.
