Ignacio,66, passed away on January 28, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. Ignacio was born in Phoenix on June 3, 1950 to Ignacio R. Martinez and Juanita R. Martinez. He attended Sierra Vista Elementary School, South Mountain High School and later attended Phoenix Community College. He was an avid outdoorsman. Ignacio also served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the US Postal Service after 46 years. He was preceded in death by his mother Juanita R Martinez; granddaughter Lelani Martinez. Ignacio is survived by his wife Mary N. Martinez; sons, Daniel (Wendy) and Adrian (Melissa); grandchildren, Daniel Jr, Aliyah and Caleb; father, Ignacio, Sr.; siblings Christina (Percy); Becky, Joseph (Corrine), Esperanza (Pete), Peter and Paul; and other relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held 9:30am, Friday, February 3, 2017 in the Chapel at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009 followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30am. Interment will follow.
