Hobert William McKnight passed away at his home. He was 82 years old.
Mr. McKnight was born in Troy, Miss. He was a long time resident of Cross County. He was a driver for the Missouri Pacific Truck Lines for 19 years. He was a member of the Levesque Assembly of God Church where he was the Sunday School Superintendent and Deacon. Mr. McKnight was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife: Jenny Belle McKnight of Wynne; sons: Hobert Stephen McKnight and William Shane McKnight both of Wynne; daughters: Mattie Carol Finley and Brenda Swink both of Wynne; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Lennie McKnight and Mrytle May (Lyons) McKnight; three brothers and three sisters.
