Norman D. "Boogie" Clark, 84, of Heath, Ohio, formerly of the Beverly, area, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Heath Nursing Care Center in Heath, Ohio. He was born October 15, 1932 in Morgan County, Ohio, son of Curtis and Lucille Faye Welch Clark.

He graduated from Manchester High School in Reinersville, Ohio. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and later worked on a survey crew for the State of Ohio. He had been a Past Commander of Lowell American Legion Post 750 and a member of the Beverly American Legion Post 389. He had also been a member of the Beverly Eagles #3665.

He is survived by a sister, Edna Pennock Phillis of Hackney; three brothers, Edward Clark and wife Janet of Brooksville, Fl., Gerald Clark and wife Mariam of Brooklyn, Michigan and Ronald Clark and wife Cherri of Dover, Fl.; a sister in law, Carol Clark; His aunt, Ruth Garris and husband Noah of Lancaster, Oh. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Cecil Clark and Herman Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with family and friends officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Chapel Cemetery with Military services at the grave. Friends may call 6-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
