Mary Jane Galer's "COLUMBUS, GA: Lists of People, 1828-1852, and Sexton's Reports to 1866" (2000), p. 229, shows: BRANNON's child died aged 2 years of the measles; buried 25 SEP 1862 (from "July 1 to October 1, 1862, Sexton's Report," dated 27 OCT 1862. The sexton then was Henry M. HARRIS).
This grave is probably not identifiably marked. Based on the burial date, it would be in either the Old Cemetery section, Section 1, Section 2, or the Letter "A" additions to these sections, unless it was subsequently moved, as the balance of the Linwood Cemetery area had not yet been opened up for burials.
