Shirley Anne Ammondson

Shirley Anne Ammondson of Whitefish, Mont., formerly of Eugene, died Feb. 14 of age-related causes at age 79. No service is planned.

Ammondson was born July 13, 1927, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Frank and Beulah Black. She married Ralph Ammondson on April 21, 1945, in Fairfield, Mont.

She had worked as a clerk in a fabric shop.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Leslie Darling of Columbia Falls, Mont., and Barbara McEvoy of Whitefish; a son, Randall of Peoria, Ill.; a brother, Carl Black of Sacramento; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A grandchild, Stephanie, died in 1969.

Arrangements by Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls, Mont. Inurnment will be later in Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls. Remembrances to North Valley Hospital Foundation, 6575 Highway 93, Whitefish, MT 59937.
