Sedan – Cindy Lou Brown, age 47, formerly of Sedan, Kansas passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Ralston, Wyoming.

She was born on March 3, 1968 in Sedan, KS to Larry Burhli and Sharon Sue Lucas. She lived in Sedan for a number of years.

On August 24, 2004 she married David “Boo Boo” Brown in Powell, Wyoming. They spent over 25 years together. Cindy worked at Kmart and also worked in customer service in many retail stores.

Cindy was an honorary member of the American Legion Post #138 in Caney, Kansas.

Survivors include her husband, David “Boo Boo” Brown of the home in Ralston, Wyoming; one daughter Shannon Krei and husband Andrew of Powell, Wyoming; two sons, Josh Grimes of Newton, Kansas and Curtis Brown of Ellsworth, Kansas; four sisters, Peggy Kyger of Independence, Kansas, Lori Shields and husband David of Claremore, Oklahoma, Judy Durham, and Sandy Morris and husband Duane of Caney, Kansas; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Riley Cemetery east of Sedan, with Pastor John Warring of the First Christian Church of Sedan officiating.

Dickens Family Funeral Home in Sedan is in charge of arrangements.
