Frances Lucille Hayek, 94, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center with the Rev. John Long of the Chapel of Faith Church, Indianola officiating. Interment will follow in the Elkhorn Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Thursday.
Frances was born December 11, 1912 the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Fiala) Hayek in Elkhorn Township rural Moorland. She graduated from Barnum High School with the class of 1931. Frances was very fond of her garden and enjoyed raising Gladiolas. She truly loved the outdoors.
Those thankful for having shared in Frances' life include her four nephews; Joseph and Zatha Moen, Charles and Barbara Moen, Marion and Velma Moen, Milford and Caroline Moen and one niece; Iola Wade.
Ms. Hayek was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters; Lydia M. Johnson, Julia Hayek, Emma Moen, Mary Hayek, Anne A. Alexander, four brothers; Frank J. Hayek, Theodore E. Hayek, Vincent C. Hayek and Eddie Hayek.
