Clayton passed away in Alexandria, VA at the age of 80. Clayton was a native of Bienville, Louisiana. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech. He worked for nearly two decades in the oil and gas industry before becoming a very successful stock and bond broker for over 30 years. He was active in his community and church, served and honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, and held elected office serving on the Caddo Parish Police Jury.
Clayton is survived by his loving wife Lou Anne; daughters, Bobbie Sevy and Charolette Angele; son, Gurvais Grigg; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; his sister, Betty Jane Fair; brother, John Richard Grigg; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Preceding Clayton in death is his father, Glade Crawford Grigg; mother, Jewel Estelle Crawford; and daughter, Betty Jane “BJ” Grigg, who died at the age of 18 in 1989.
