Mrs. Hazel Louise Bledsole Ammons, 85, of 375 Tram Road, Clinton died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC.
Mrs. Ammons, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Benjamin J. "Ben" Bledsole and Martha Goodman Bledsole, and the widow of Eddie David Ammons. She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren and numerous brothers, and sisters.
She was a grader and packer at Sampson Produce and a member of Holly Grove Holiness Church.
She is survived by children, Elizabeth Dale McKinny and husband Dwayne of Raeford; Deloris Elaine Simmons and husband Brent of Clinton; Eddie Keith Ammons and wife Lori Ann of Seven Springs; Shelia Ann Brewington of Clinton; Eugene Davis Ammons and Pamela Sue Pridgen and husband Terry; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Lillian House of Stedman; brother, Huey Bledsole of Godwin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends two hours prior services at the church.
The funeral services were held at 3 PM, Friday, June 2, 2017 at Holly Grove Holiness Church with the Rev. Dr. Randy Simmons, the Rev. Ricky Jacobs and the Rev. Ken Simmons officiating.
Burial was made in Old Holly Grove Church Cemetery.
