Robert T. Good, age 89, of Van Wert, OH and formerly of Toledo, OH, passed away Friday, September 15, 2000, at Van Wert County Hospital. He was born January 15, 1911, in Sheffield, AL to Benjamin and Alice (Byrum) Good. He married Geraldine St. Clair on May 12, 1938, and she preceded him in death in 1987. He then married Helen (Dunn) Good.
Robert retired from the United States Postal Service in Toledo and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert.
Robert is survived by his wife, Helen (Dunn) Good of Van Wert, OH; 2 sons, Robert (Susan) Good of Toledo and Ronald Good of Berkley, CA; one daughter, Nancy Blahm of Enon, OH; 2 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, and first wife, Geraldine (St. Clair) Good.
There will be visitation and funeral services will be Saturday, September 23, at 2 p.m. at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Van Wert, OH with Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Cemetery, Toledo, OH.
