Betty Jewell Angel Selby, 79 of Kingston, passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, May 29, 2017 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Betty was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed her yard work, shopping, crafts, and her grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Windell Selby; parents, William Franklin and Ola Mae Donnahoe Angel; brothers, W.D., Cecil, Norman, and Don Angel;
brothers-in-law, N.J. Mooneyham, and John Tollett; sister, Louella Mooneyham; sisters-in-law, Angie Leigh Angel and Ruby Angel.
Survivors include her daughters Pamela Heflin, Nashville, Deanna Selby, Nashville; son, Gary and wife Dona Selby, Ohio; sister, Mary Ruth Tollett, Cookeville; sisters-in-law Edith Angel, Ohio, Willie Grace Angel, Pikeville; grandson, Marcus Heflin; granddaughter, Kelly Heflin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be 1:00 Friday, June 2, 2017 with Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery.
