Elizabeth Ann "Jibby' Adams Murphy,72, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at her residence. Born on September 26, 1933 in Owensboro, KY.
She was a retired social worker for Christopher East, where she worked for 30 years, and a member of Ascension Catholic Church.
Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Walt" Murphy.
She is survived by her five children, a sister, eight grandchildren, and her "adopted" son-in-law.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Ascension Catholic Church, 4600 Lynnbrook Dr., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday.
