OBITUARY from The Corydon Democrat:
David Lamar Luttrell, 67, English, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at 7:50 a.m. at his home.
Born July 4, 1940, in Brownsville, Ky., he was the son of the late Silas Luttrell and Inez Wolfe.
He was retired after 15 years from General Electric, was an independent logger and was a charter member of Charity Union Baptist Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Bonnie Sue Harris, and a daughter, Alma Lynn Luttrell.
Survivors include his son, Darrell Luttrell of Milltown; a daughter, Traci Luttrell of English; two brothers, Earl Luttrell of Taswell and Johnnie Luttrell of Grantsburg; four sisters, Earline Carlin of Louisville, Phyllis Wilson of Pekin, Edotha Ashley of Brownsville, Ky., and Nelda Vincent of Lindseyville, Ky.; his caregivers, Joan Shafer and Rita Sherman; and two grandchildren.
Funeral: Sunday, Nov. 11, at Denbo Funeral Home in English with burial in Mather's Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Kenneth Meredith.
