Funeral services for Frank Bunte, 93, of Holland were held at 2 PM Feb 6 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev Raymond Thorp officiating. Burial was in Holland Cemetery. He died Sunday Feb 5 at his home. Frank Bunte was born Jan 1, 1914 in Holland to Adolph Frank and Emma Erica (Dahm) Bunte. He married Lucy Beryl Shelton on March 19, 1943 in Belton. Mr Bunte was a farmer and rancher and was well-known for top quality peaches. He was a member of the Farm Bureau for over 50 years and was a member of the Val Verde Baptist Church. He was preceded in deathy by his parents and a son, Roger Bunte. Survivors include his wife, Lucy Bunte of Holland; a son, Wade Bunte of Holland; a daughter, Konnie Johnson of Lone Tree, Colorado; a sister, Leona Moon of Belton; and a grandson, David Embry of Euless. Dossman Funeral Home was in charge.
