Mr. James E. Favors, 76, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Sunday, August 10, 2006, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Favors was a native of Winnsboro, LA and had been a longtime resident of the coast. He was a retired U. S. Air Force Staff Sergeant with 21 years of service. He was also retired from Ingall's Shipbuilding with over 20 years of employment. Mr. Favors was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs and a former member of the Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Pansy Elda Ward Favors, and his parents, James F. and Hattie Lupo Favors. Survivors include his daughter, Joyce Elaine Favors of Ocean Springs; two sons, James Dennis Favors and his wife, Sunday, of Hawaii, and Barry Ward Favors and his wife, Monique, of Ocean Springs; one brother, Dewey Favors of Winnsboro, LA, and seven grandchildren, Rosina, Thomas, Sabrina, Catarina, Jamie, Jordan and Skyler.
