THE PARIS NEWS, Thu., May 11, 1995, p.12A. 'Hugo, OK - Gay Nell Strain, 70, of Paris died Tuesday, May 9, 1995. Services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, May 12, at Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home with the Rev. James Greer officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Strain was born Aug. 12, 1924, a daughter of James Lewis and Margaret Dean. She married Sydney Tolbert Strain Jr. March 9, 1951. He died in 1992. She moved to Paris from El Paso in 1992, and was a resident of Cherry Street Manor in Paris. Surviving are a son, James M. Strain of Paris; one daughter, Brenda Gayl Gambrel, Gillette, WY; one sister, Euple Jones of Dallas; and nine grandchildren.'
