C. W. Rollins Dies of Heart Failure
Charles Wallace Rollins, well-known church leader, educator and builder, died Feb. 10, 1979 at the Lakeview Hospital of heart failure/

He was born Dec. 2 1908 in Milford, Utah to Pearly F. and Esther Morris Rollins. He married Grace Jensen at Billings, Montana on July 1, 1933. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

He was the former bishop of the Val Verda Second Ward, president of the former South Davis Stake and at the time of his death was a patriarch I the Val Verda Stake. He was the recipient of the Honorary M-Men Award.

He taught school in Wyoming and Salt lake City and was a principal in the Salt Lake School District. He was honored with the Bountiful Sertoma Club Service to Mankind Award.

He is survived by his wife of Bountiful; daughters and sons, Mrs. Myrna Heninger, South Salt Lake City; Mrs. Jean Fisher, Sacramento, Calif.; Keith Morris Rollins, Salt Lake City and Charles Brent Rollins, Kaysville; 13 grandchildren; sister, Vera Bond and brothers, Ralph and Arden Rollins.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1979 at 1 p.m. at the Val Verda Stake Center, 2600 South 500 West.

Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday at the Stake Center 11:45 to 12:45. Interment in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
