Charlotte Ambuehl 1903-1992

Charlotte "Lottie" Ambuehl, 89, died at the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital in Bagley on Saturday, October 3, 1992.
Lottie was born July 20, 1903, to Frank and Katherine Surma in Dudley Township, Clearwater County. She was raised in the Pinewood area. She married Raymond Ambuehl in Bemidji on December 23, 1926. The Ambuehls lived south of Clearbrook on a farm. Mr. Ambuehl died December 24, 1967. In 1968 she moved into the village of Clearbrook and has made her home there since.
She attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Clearbrook and was active in the ladies groups of the church. She was a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook and a very active member of the Clearbrook Senior Citizens Organization.
Survivors include three children, Donald of Anchorage, Alaska, Duane of Cross Lake, Minnesota, and Pauline (Mrs. Dennis) Holm of Leonard; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and five sisters.
Her funeral was Tuesday, October 6 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Clearbrook. The Rev. Kenneth Nyhusmoen officiated. Burial was in the Silver Creek Cemetery, rural Clearbrook with arrangements by the Cease Family Funeral Home, Bagley.
