Carl Edward Barnes, 90, passed away on May 24, 2017. The son of Issac & Ada Violia (Bowen) Barnes, Carl was born July 2, 1926 in Haileyville, OK. After graduating from High School, Carl honorably served his country in the US Army from 1943-1945. He worked as a Real Estate Broker and owned his own business. In his spare time, Carl loved to garden, cook, make his own “Brew” and was known as a joker. He also had a love for all animals.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind his wife, Lupe; step-children, Mary Louise, James, Elizabeth & Joseph; and a multitude of grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday May 31, 2017 at the South Colonial Chapel.
