Florene Elizabeth Alcorn, 73, of Macon, IL passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family.
Florene was born on May 5, 1944 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of William F. and Florence Marie (Cons) Coleman. She married Darrell Gene Alcorn on September 23, 2000. Florene retired from PPG after 26 years of service. She was a member of Macon United Methodist Church and attended the Christian Women’s Connection. She loved gardening in her yard and taking care of her flowers. Florene enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting and school events.
She is survived by her husband: Darrell Gene Alcorn of Macon, IL; sons: Jeffery Woolard of Mannford, OK and Bryan (Garnet) Woolard of Decatur, IL; sisters: Maria (Bob) Christian of Decatur, IL and Barbara Thompson of Pana, IL; brother: Billy Coleman of Pana, IL; grandchildren: Hannah, Tabitha and Austin Woolard; special neighbors: Monte and Cheri Holsapple of Macon, IL; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
