Bruce R. Coil, 67, of Wonder Lake passed away May 23, 2017.
He was born December 8, 1949 in South Bend, IN to Robert and Margaret Coil. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Military Police.
Bruce was a very religious man and was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, especially making birdhouses and lawn decorations.
He is survived by his children, Cassandra Welch-Coil and Eric Thomas; his grandchildren, Aiden, Zoe, and Luke; his companion, Diane Barton, and her children, Stephanie Barton, Aaron Barton, and Stacey Barton; his sister, Cathy; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Doug.
Interment will take place in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
