Warren was born in Santa Ana, CA to Frederick W. Mansur (1868 - 1922) and Minnie C. Gardner (1868 - 1936). He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army in WWI. Discharged on Dec. 24, 1919, he died from tubercular meningitis in the home where he was born less than a month later.
