Jeanmarie Ann (Courtright) Webb, 52, of Taylor, died Saturday at Geisinger Community Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Byron T., and they celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary June 26.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late William and Cecelia (Gaffney) Courtright, she was a 1981 graduate of West Scranton High School. Jeanmarie volunteered for the Red Cross, Keystone Ambulance and the North Star Search and Rescue, served as a board member for the Taylor Neighborhood Crime Watch and was vice president for Junk for a Cause. Throughout her life, she enjoyed the outdoors, animals and helping children. She was a special person, who was always there to lend a helping hand.
Also surviving are Shirley and Gino Ferrari, Hazleton, who are her aunt and uncle; a brother, William J., Scranton; three children, Byron Webb III, Honesdale; James Martin Webb, Pottsville; and Ryan William Webb, Jermyn; a grandson, Jacob Conner Hammond; and numerous cousins and friends.
