Homegoing services for MRS. LILLIE DEAN (LYNN) WRIGHT, 86, of Velma, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the Velma Baptist Church, with Rev. Cody Deavers officiating. Interment will follow at Claud Cemetery of Stephens County. Family visitation will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM Tuesday, February 4, at Grantham Funeral Home Chapel of Velma. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
Lillie Dean (Lynn) Wright became an angel in heaven on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at the Country Club Care Center of Duncan. She was born November 13, 1927, to Winford E. Lynn and Thelma Mildred (Maddox) Lynn, and was a lifelong resident of the Claud and Velma communities. She married Macklin Wright on August 1, 1946, and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2003.
She and Macklin were avid fishermen and enjoyed a lifetime of fishing trips with their children and grandchildren, making many memories. She was a good friend and neighbor to everyone and always willing to extend a helping hand to those in need.
She is survived by her children, Gary and Linda Wright of Velma, Liz and Dave Brenneis of Bray, Carolyn and Steve Vinson of Davis, and Melisa and Johnnie Rubrecht of Loco. She is also survived by a sister, Glenda Bough and husband John of Bloomfield, Indiana; grandchildren, Bruce Vinson, Jr., Chad Brenneis, David Wright, Ronnie Wright, Dennis Wright, Christy Garner, Shawnda Folsom, Dillon Rubrecht, Kory Rubrecht and MacKenna Rubrecht; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Stone, Cannon Brenneis, Cailin Wright, Clay Wright, Kelcey Wright, Destiny Garrison, Shelby Ellis, Amber Meyers, Amera Williamson, Kensely Folsom, Lillie Folsom and Madelynn Folsom; and numerous other family and friends.
