Mary Nell Green, age 95 of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Nell was a loyal member of Christ Church and was a receptionist at Patio Beauty Salon for 25 years. She was born in Collinwood, TN to the late John Wright Moore and Nancy Dea Moore on June 29, 1921. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Green; sisters, Virginia Hunter, Edna Cherry, Grace Applegate, Pauline Petras; brothers, Jim Moore, Floyd Moore, Buster Moore. Surviving family includes children, Tommy Green, Jewell Laster, Gary Green, Mike Green, Vicki Donald, Cherri Green; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:30pm in the chapel of Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
