Wayne J. Anderson, 71 year old resident of Randall, MN passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his home in Randall. He is in heaven now with his Lord and family. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Randall, with Pastor Joe Crosswhite officiating. Burial will be at the Darling Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Friday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN, and from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Saturday at the church. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM on Friday.
Wayne J. Anderson was born on December 27, 1945 to Hilding and Doris (Venske) Anderson. He served in the National Guard and United States Army. Wayne was united in marriage to Marilyn Fischer on February 26, 1966 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Little Falls, MN. Wayne and Marilyn lived in Coon Rapids, Fridley, and Blaine for 42 years, before moving back to Randall after retiring. Wayne was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Randall ball team, and the Little Falls Elk Anonas softball team. He loved camping, fishing, gardening, playing cards, helping on family farms, making sausage, and spending time with his family.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marilyn of Randall, MN; 3 sons, Jon of Coon Rapids, MN; Scott of Coon Rapids, MN; and David of Randall, MN; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Rebecca, Deion, Alexis, Dominic, David Jr., Wayne, and Ashton; brother, James (Diane) Anderson of Hutchinson, MN; sisters, Janice Lundgren of Little Falls, MN; Nancy Hamlin of St. Cloud, MN; and Barb (Kevin) Andersen of Little Falls, MN; and his card player and cousin, Ron Venske.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilding and Doris; baby sister, Judy Anderson; nephew Terry Anderson; and brothers-in-law, Richard Lundgren and William Hamlin.

Pallbearers will be David Anderson, Ron Venske, Morris Nelson, Rick Lundgren, Marv Dietrich, Randy Lundgren, and Gary Nazworth.
