1936 ~ 2017
Our beloved mother, wife and grandmother, Jennie Lynn Adams passed away peacefully May 18, 2017.
For 63 years, Jennie shared her life with her childhood sweetheart, Henry Lee Adams. They were married October 8, 1954 and had four admiring children.
Jennie loved to do ceramics, crochet, dance, listen to all types of music, collect ceramic birds and travel. She and Henry took numerous cruises, but her favorite was their trip to Alaska.
Born in Denver, Co, to Evelyn Lucero, Jennie was an only child but loved by her numerous Aunts and Uncles, all who helped raise her. She and Henry raised their family in Bountiful, Utah and resided there for 22 years. Jennie loved spending time with the "other ladies on the circle" and missed them dearly when she and Hank relocated to Gallup, NM in 1986.
Jennie had a dynamic personality, quirky sense of humor and brightened any room she walked into. Her catch phrases were contagious and the family joked that she never met a casino she didn't like.
Jennie leaves behind her loving husband, Henry Lee Adams, son, Anthony Edward (Sheryl) Adams, daughters Natalie Ann Adams and Karen Marie (Jeffrey) Sisson, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, son, Henry C. Adams, and two granddaughters. Jennie was the heart of the family and will be dearly missed.
A viewing will be held at Wasatch Lawn 3401 S Highland Dr, Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10:00 am with the funeral service to follow at the same location at 11:00 am. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 275 "U" Street, SLC.
