Andrew Jackson "Jack" Pankake was the son of Andrew and Ann Eliza (Wolf) Pancake. He came to Minnesota with his parents and siblings in 1866. The family moved to Washington Co., Kansas in 1877. Jack returned to Minnesota and married Nellie Belle Ovitt on March 22, 1895 in Litchfield. They were the parents of seven children. He died of tuberculosis at his home in Forest Prairie Township.
