AGED LOCAL WOMAN DIES WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Sophia Kendall 85, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Henry Carlson of 916 Hackberry Street at 2:45 P.M. Wednesday.
She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Gustaf Nelson and was born in Smoland, Sweden Feb. 4, 1851. For the last twenty years; she has lived here.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Carlson of Ottumwa and Miss Lillian Kendall of Los Angeles, California; one son E.E. Kendell of Minneapolis, Min., and one grandson Paul Robert Kendall of Minneapolis, Min.
She was preceeded in death by her husband John Andrew Kendall and four children.
Funeral services will be held at Johnsons funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. R.L. Selix of the Open Bible church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
