OBITUARY
Fannie Mae Crowell
Mrs. Fannie Mae Crowell, 87, died at the Bigfork Convalescent Center Tuesday morning.
She was born Nov. 9, 1886, in Brown County, Minn., a daughter of Frank and Mertie South Conklin. She received her education in Minnesota and on May 24, 1913, was married to Frank Crowell in Detroit Lakes, Becker Co., Minn.
Mrs. Crowell taught at the Normal College at Moorehead, Minn., for a time. The couple made their home in Minnesota until 1950 when they moved to Lebanon, Ore. In 1954, they moved to Shelby until 1958 when they came to Kalispell.
Mrs. Crowell was a member of the Assembly of God.
She is survived by her widower, Frank; a son, Lloyd Crowell of Kalispell; two daughters, Mrs. Chester (Iva) Johnson of Detroit Lakes, and Mrs. Gordon (Ada Mae) Olson of Colfax, Wash.; two brothers, Bud Conklin of Othello, Wash., and Bennie Conklin of Baker, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be in the Johnson Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Ellwood Grissom, pastor of the Assembly of God officiating. Interment will be in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
