At Home at Cactus Acres Dale R. Hofeling, 74, passed away Feb. 13, 2007 at home with his sweetheart of 55 years holding his hand. Born July 10, 1932 in Salt Lake City. He married Connie Backus Nov. 23, 1951 in S.L.C. Dale worked at Hill Airforce Base for 29 years as a flight line mechanic. He loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping & spending time with his loved ones, but he was happiest in the mountains. He truly was an honorable man with a kind heart and gentle spirit. There wasn't anything that he couldn't find away to fix. He is survived by his loving wife Connie, Son: Ray (Michelle), Daughter DeeAnn (Ed) Behunin: 9 beautiful grandchildren, & 2 great grandchildren. Also two sisters: Barbara (Howard) Mugleston & Karen (Merrill) Wilson, & many loved nieces and nephews, three sisters in law and three brothers in law. Proceeded in death by Parents John R. Hofeling, & Sara Leona Davies Hofeling, & Brother Raymond Hofeling. The family would like to thank Hospice and IHC Home Care for all their loving care. Graveside services will be Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007 at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd, with a viewing Friday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
