Mr. Williams professed a faith in Christ at 20 years of age, living a devoted life to his Maker until his death, serving, being one of the active Baptist ministers until advanced age removed him from the stage of action a few years ago, but his memory will remain in the mind of those recalling his work in building church houses and an active part taken in the upbuilding of humanity.
He was placed to rest at the Hall Cemetery after a fitting funeral service conducted by the Rev. Perry F. Bennett Wednesday, January 2, 1929.
